The Art of H.G.Wells!

Every box is a winner!

This is a special series for a variety of different reasons. Not only does it mark a return to the original art sets that made trading cards so great in the past, but it also brings back the exciting stories that made reading cards so much fun as well!

To help celebrate this event in style, we've added special prizes in every box. And unlike the other companies, you don't have to buy multiple boxes of the same series to collect all the inserts. Every single box has at least one of every single card from that series in it. Here's what you get:

Series 1: The Time Machine

(just 166 numbered boxes made)

36 packs with color wrappers containing several complete sets of the story cards. Several checklists, each numbered X of 1,000 sets.

BC1: A background card covering the influence of The Time Machine on the many Science Fiction stories that followed in its wake.

PC1: A prize card for a free tape of The Time Machine radio drama.

PC4: A prize card for a free uncut sheet of The Time Machine and The War Of The Worlds.

A1: An original autographed sketch card by series artist, Ricardo Garijo.

BA1: A Box Art card featuring the box art without titles and in regular card size (2.5 x 3.5")

Series 2: Island of Dr. Moreau

(just 166 numbered boxes made)

36 packs with color wrappers containing several complete sets of the story cards. Several checklists, each numbered X of 1,000 sets.

BC3: A background card providing the biography of the father of science fiction, author H.G.Wells.

PC3: A prize card for a free tape of the 1953 broadcast of The War Of The Worlds. This was the movie version by George Pal adapted to radio, and it also contains a rare recording of a real interview between H.G.Wells and Orson Welles.

PC5: A prize card for a DVD movie adaption of H.G.Well's story, The Island of Dr. Moreau.

PC6: A prize card for free original art! Of the 166 possible prizes, 12 offer actual paintings from Island of Dr. Moreau. 18 offer the different conceptual sketches for the aliens and spaceships in The War Of The Worlds as designed by series artist Ricardo Garijo. 120 cards offer original story board art from all three series. The remaining 20 cards offer free sets from The Time Machine or The War Of The Worlds.

A2: An original autographed sketch card by series artist, Ricardo Garijo.

BA2: A Box Art card featuring the box art without titles and in regular card size (2.5 x 3.5")

Series 3: The War Of The Worlds

(just 166 numbered boxes made)

36 packs with color wrappers containing several complete sets of the story cards. Several checklists, each numbered X of 1,000 sets.

BC2: A background card covering the influence of The War Of The Worlds on pop culture, with a special focus on Mars Attacks!

PC2: A prize card for a free tape of the 1938 radio broadcast, The War Of The Worlds-- the same broadcast that caused nation wide panic when America thought it was being invaded by Martians!

A3: An original autographed sketch card by series artist, Ricardo Garijo.

NOTE: The Box Art Card for War of the Worlds (BA-3) is only available if all three series are ordered. It features the box art that would have been used if a white test box wasn't used.

Remember, every box has all of these insert cards! There's nothing to chase unless you buy them by the pack, because every box has at least one of every different card in that series. You can't lose unless you wait until it's sold out!
