Why Democrats?

The vast majority of public (both Republican and Democrat) are against rewarding illegals who broke our laws by giving them citizenship. All it does it encourage the next wave of illegals (just as the 1980s Amnesty did). So why is the Democratic Leadership in the Senate for it?

Apparently, they believe the black and other low income earners have no one else to vote for, so they don't mind selling out the lower income workers by bringing in even MORE competition. Look around today and compare the low in jobs of today to those two decades ago. The Lawn Service, the janitors, the construction workers.. They all used to be predominately black. Now they are overwhelmingly illegal Mexicans. Native black Americans and other unskilled laborers are being replaced by illegals who don't require workman's comp insurance, social security, or even minimum wages. They can't sue for discrimination either. They are GREAT for employers who don't want to play by the rules, but they are TERRIBLE for the other workers and tax payers who have to pay the billions of dollars in government costs (hospital emergency room costs, public school costs, and jail costs) the illegals cost society.

Unions support the amnesty, because it will increase their membership, and that means more union dues. But although it increases the money the UNION gets, it does not increase the pay of the Union MEMBERS. It will flood the supply of Union workers, and that drives Union wages DOWN. Like Kennedy and other Democrats who support the Amnesty, the Unions have sold out the interest of society at large to benefit a very small SPECIAL interest. Tell them "No"!
