The War of the Worlds cards are printed and turned out supurb. All orders are currently caught up. Series 1 & 2 are currently being produced. We can try to match all box numbers of earlier customers if they request it. For more updates on our progress, go here.
EXTRA INSERT CARDS!
During the time between our first ads and the actual release of the cards, we found a new printer that uses a bigger press. This allowed a larger sheet and we used the oppertunity to provide some extra value.
In addition to the already planned autograph-sketch card, every box also includes a special prize card. Plus, there will also be a free "Background Card" covering the impact War of the Worlds had on popular culture, with a special focus on the 1962 series of Mars Attacks.
We've also expanded The Time Machine and Island of Dr. Moreau. The biggest change is that they will both be sold separately in unique full color boxes (166 of each). Each Time Machine box will have 2 prize cards (one for a radio drama of the story, the other for an uncut sheet of Time Machine and War of the Worlds). Each Dr. Moreau box will have 3 prize cards (One for a tape, another for a Dr. Moreau DVD, and the other for original production art from the series, including 12 different actual paintings!) Both also include different background cards, different wrappers, and different autographed sketch cards that are unique to each series. For updates on that series, go here.
