Mailing Status of Art of H.G. Wells Orders:
All boxes and sets of Island of Dr. Moreau and War of the Worlds ordered before Jan 1, 2007, were mailed out before the end of 2006. All orders of Time Machine placed before Jan 8, 2007, have been mailed out by Jan 7, 2007. We are down to the last few unsold boxes, so if you wish to order any of these sets, please do so immediately.
EXTRA INSERT CARDS!
Both The Time Machine and Island of Dr. Moreau will both be sold separately in unique full color boxes (166 of each). Each Time Machine box will have 2 prize cards (one for a radio drama of the story, the other for an uncut sheet of Time Machine and War of the Worlds). Each Dr. Moreau box will have 3 prize cards (One for a tape, another for a Dr. Moreau DVD, and the other for original production art from the series, including 12 different actual paintings!) Both also include different background cards, different wrappers, and different autographed sketch cards that are unique to each series.
SPECIAL BONUS!
As an added thanks for your patience waiting for the boxes, all boxes of Island of Dr. Moreau will also include a "Monsterwax Metal Card"-- an actual printing plate used to print one of the cards in the series. They're cut out from the sheet at 2.5 x 3.5 inches and there is one in every box of series 2! Since it's a four color process, each one is unique, and there's just enough to put one in every box. They fit well in plastic sleeves along with the other cards.
