"It's Not Amnesty!"

Activists who support Amnesty repeat this manta over and over again. Ironic, huh? They say they plan to make the illegals speak English, and yet, they don't seem to understand English themselves!

This is the Dictionary definition of Amnesty. You judge if what they deny is Amnesty really is or isn't.

1. A general pardon by which a government absolves offenders.

2. Intentional overlooking, especially of wrongdoing, forgetfulness.

It seems to us that both those definitions are EXACTLY what they are talking about: Amnesty. If they won't even talk about it honestly, can we expect them to act honestly and enforce any new laws they pass? They sure didn't in 1986 when they passed the first Amnesty. The problem only increased, because the government "Intentionally overlooked"enforcement of the law.

Write, or call your Congressmen and Senators (202-224-3121). Tell them we've had enough of the word games, and it's time to get serious about border enforcement. Build the fence, and even more importantly, PUNISH business owners who break the law and hire illegals (that's what keeps them staying here). We don't have to deport, but stop the SUPPORT, and the illegals will go home. (Research shows most had jobs but left them for better pay in the USA.) W mustn't give away citizenship to those who refuse to honor our laws and sneak across our borders.
