How To Vote!
We've watched with careful interest who has said what during the 2008 Presidential campaign. Here are our conclusions:
Both Candidates are pandering to the Hispanic vote, which they believe want open borders. (In fact, many Hispanic citizens had to earn their citizenship legally, and do NOT support granting Amnesty.) Both candidates have poor records when it comes to enforcing the borders, but one is much worse than the other.
Democrats:
Barack Obama: Obama wins the prize for the WORST choice to defend our borders. He not only supports "comprehensive reform" for illegals, (The insider euphemism for Amnesty), he also told La Rasa that he felt Americans should all learn Spanish! Talk about the tail wagging the dog!
Republicans:
John McCain: Unfortunately, McCain has a very poor record on protecting the borders as well. He strongly supported "comprehensive reform" (Amnesty) when it failed last year, but he has since claimed he has learned from his mistake and would not vote for it again. Now he says he's for enforcing the borders first. (What happens after that is unclear.) But at least he's now giving lip service to do what every representative of the government should always do: Support the enforcement of our national laws.
CONCLUSION: Although neither candidate has a good record in border enforcement, it is obvious that John McCain is the lesser of two evils. Obama's promise of Amnesty, and going further to suggest that we should learn the immigrant's language rather than they should learn ours, clearly shows he doesn't have what it takes to lead our country (let alone, defend it).
MAKE SURE YOU VOTE in 2008! This is the first election ever in which Illegal immigration has been one of the main deciding issues. If we don't confront this issue this time around, the opportunity will likely be lost forever!
