What a shame they activists can't settle on one good argument to promote their cause. We have many common sense arguments why it's a bad idea. The high social cost is one. Rewarding illegal behavior is another problem with Amnesty. The language barrier is another. Plus, we were promised their would be no more Amnesties last time when the 1986 Amnesty was passed. So now they can break their word by changing the word?
